Beautiful Georgia Day!

I can't believe how beautiful it is! For over two weeks we've slept with the windows open, the fans going, and just the flannel sheets over us! I've been sleeping like a LOG! If Eric has snored, I'd never know.

The kids and I spent Spring Break down at the lake house ... swimming, sunning and just relaxing. It was heavenly and the sun was PERFECT! When we got home, I just gelt refreshed and recharged and the kids were rosey and happy! Loved it! We stopped by the bakery in downtown Milledgeville ... Ryals ... a favorite haunt from my high school days. I love their wedding cookies and the kids go ape over their candy.

And of course we had to make a few stops by The Shrimp Boat ...... mmmm .... the fish junior is incredible!!!! I'd drive all the way to Milledgeville for that alone!

Okay ... Alli and I are fixing dinner ... salsbury steak, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and she's making pink lemonade!

Hugs to all ...

Good Morning!

10:26am

It's FREEEEZING here in the south. We all went out last night and bought enough fire wood for at least a few days to keep the kitchen warm till this snap is over. Hickory. It smells so amazing crackling in the fireplace ... makes you think of Christmas even though it's been over for weeks.

Alli cheered her first game Saturday ... she was so cute and really LOVES cheering more than just about anything! Yesterday she spent the afternoon with her friend Sophie ... tennis, baseball, basketball, soccer .... those two girls did it all, I think!

Alex spent the day studying. He's bound and determined to score higher this semester and I'm so proud of his hard work! He's testing this coming week for his blue belt in Tae Kwon Do. You should see him ... he's a hard worker!!!

I'll write more later. I've got some groceries to put away.
